Cape Town Museum

The Cape Town Museum is a museum without walls. 

The museum gathers, shares and records the stories of people who live in Cape Town, as  well as their ideas and visions for a Cape Town of the future. 

Learn more about the history of the City and activities of the museum by visiting the Cape Town Museum Walk-In Centre and Cape Town Museum Memory Centre or visit the museum’s online platform: Cape Town Digital (www.capetownmuseum.org.za) . The Memory Centre is housed at the Cape Medical Museum in Green Point, Cape Town. 

You can also contribute to writing the history of the City by submitting your memories to the Cape Town Mapping project hosted on Cape Town Digital.
