Blombos Museum of Archaeology

The museum shows the archaeological history of the Hessequa region. 

This heritage includes:

The ancient and more recent fish traps as well as the shell middens along the coastline from Gouritz River mouth to the mouth of the Breede River,

The many rock art sites in the Langeberg Mountains,

Archaeological replicas of the Blombos Cave and many other sites of palaeontological, archaeological and cultural importance in the region.
